Miniature Metal Chair

My mom and I made this floral seat cushion for our friend Jessica's Shabby Chic store.  We painted the chair pink and made the seat cushion out of fabric we found at Tony's Fabrics.  Jessica's store "Southern Shabby So Chic" is in Simpsonville SC. You should check out her store, she has amazing vintage pieces!

Antique Wicker Table

BEFORE
AFTER

My Mom and I went to Antiques on Augusta when they were having their blowout sale. My mom spotted this wicker table. She was able to talk them down to 15.00 dollars! We wiped it down with mineral spirits and coated it with Benjamin Moore oil Paint: tropicana cabana. There you have it an inexpensive and quick way to make your room feel more summery! It is so much fun going green and recycling antique furniture to make it feel like new.

AMY BUTLER- SWING BAG

Amy Butler is one of my favorites! Well, she probably is my favorite! She has the prettiest fabrics and patterns. We found the fabrics and pattern at Bernina Sewing Center here in Greenville. Her fabrics are bright and happy. Perfect for Spring. Her style is super feminine. She knows what it takes to make a girl feel beautiful. Check out her website for inspiration! She even has free patterns to download! www.amybutlerdesign.com

Antique Coat Rack

This antique coat rack is a Christmas gift that is finally completed! My mom gave this antique farmhouse coat rack to me for Christmas. My mom and I spruced it up a bit!
This is what it looked like before we sanded it down. It had a folk art design on it. We sanded it down a little, not all the way. We still wanted to see some of the old paint. Like it had been really weathered. Then we stained it a little darker.
We let it dry. Hung it up in my apartment then all the fun decorating started!
Pottery Barn had a cute idea. They hung the coat rack above the headboard. Then they hung little mirrors and picture frames off of theirs. This idea is great inspiration (Pottery Barn website Raleigh Headboard).

TABLE RUNNER

My mom and I finally decided what to do with the fabric that we found. We made a table runner! It turned out great. Yesterday my mom and I were out looking at fabric stores and you wouldn't believe what we found...more of the same tribal fabric. We went to A. Smart Fabrics in Greenville and they have the fabric! Waverly Tribal fabric for $36 a yard a lot less expensive than $88 a yard! A. Smart Fabrics has a great selection of really nice fabrics. I am so glad we found a new fabric store and finally finished the project!

WALL DECOR

I love this look. I have a wall in my bathroom that needed a little something. The sconce I found at Hobby Lobby for $15 when they had 50% off their wall decor! The painting I already had. What a cute inexpensive way to add a little something to your wall.
